Q: What are AMBF frames made of?
A: All frames and components are manufactured from "onesteel (formerly BHP)" Galvanised or Zincalume high strength Steel.

Q: How are AMBF frames constructed?
A: They are riveted and / or bolted (NOT welded, so that the integrity of the steel corrosion treatment is not compromised).

Q: Are steel houses more expensive than timber?
A: Taking all the factors associated with building a house into account (materials and labour etc) steel stands up as being very competitive indeed.

Q: Are steel frames affected by lightning?
A: Lightening will have much less effect on a steel framed house than a timber one because the frame is earthed and the lightning's energy is safely dissipated into the ground.
