Why Steel?
Steel has inherent distinct advantages over timber that are now recognised and accepted by the building industry. Unlike timber, Steel Frames are impervious to termite attack, they are always straight and true, they do not warp twist or buckle, and once installed, they do not require subsequent remedial work. Steel frames are also easier to handle as they are about half the weight of timber frames. This greatly reduces erection time and on-site labour.

All frames and components are manufactured from OneSteel Galvanised or Zincalume Steel. We do not weld our light frames. They are riveted and/or bolted so as not to compromise the corrosion treatment of the steel.
